Virginia Tech University, Henderson Hall Renovation and New Black Box Theatre

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander provided audio-video and theatre consulting for Virginia Tech’s renovated Henderson Hall and Theatre 101, the black box theatre. Located near downtown, the facilities provide a connection to the community and the first piece in the campus’ developing arts district.

Made up of three separate buildings that were joined together, Henderson Hall is the home of the School of Performing Arts and Cinema, the School of Visual Arts and various music department programs; it contains a lighting studio/rehearsal space, music practice spaces, a visual design studio, gallery and offices.
