The Venetian Macao, ZAIA™ for Cirque du Soleil

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander provided audio-video and theatre consulting for Cirque du Soleil’s ZAIA™, a 90-minute cosmic experience at one of the largest themed resort and casino developments in Asia – the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel.

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander’s collaboration with the design teams from Cirque du Soleil, the Venetian Macau Ltd. and Aedas Architects of Hong Kong fostered the design for this spectacular 1,800-seat performance space and development of the technically-advanced audio-video systems integrated into the building. The firm’s work coordinated the audio-video technology with the performance environment, completely immersing the audience in the production and enveloping them in a three dimensional experience.
