Space Center Houston, NASA Visitors Center

This 180,000-square-foot building is the official visitors center for the NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Off to the side of the Space Center Plaza is the five-story Space Center Theater, the smaller Destiny Theater, “Blast Off” (a live format theater sharing direct communication between Houston Mission Control and the active space shuttle crews) and an interactive exhibit area.

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander provided theatre and audio-video consulting for the planning and coordination of seating, sightlines and presentation formats with film producers/contractors for the theatres.
