Emerson College
Tufte Performance and Production Center

Emerson College, Tufte Performance and Production Center

The first new building constructed at Emerson College in its 124-year history, the Tufte Performance and Production Center also fits a lot into a small footprint – a 30,000-square-foot, 11-story facility on an 8,000-square-foot site.

Auerbach Glasow provided architectural lighting design for the Semel Theater and the Greene Theater within the Tufte building. Both theatres feature an integrated architectural lighting control system that functions alongside the performance system and allows lighting preset recall for operation of lighting by a stage manager or single technician when full console function is not required.
