Boston University Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre and College of Fine Arts Production Center

Located in the heart of Boston University’s Charles River campus, the Joan and Edgar Booth Theatre and College of Fine Arts Production Center represent a radical improvement to the School of Theatre’s facilities and a sea-change for faculty and students.  The new building fulfills two goals: a more unified department and increased opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.  Auerbach Glasow worked with the design team to seamlessly integrate the building’s lighting design with the architectural vision.  The lighting is a combination of meticulously detailed public-facing areas like the lobby and theatre and highly functional/practical solutions for the classrooms, offices, and studios.

Boston University Joan and Edgar Booth Theatre & College of Fine Arts Production Center was part of a multi-million dollar investment in College of Fine Arts improvements.
