Boston University Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre and College of Fine Arts Production Center
Located in the heart of Boston University’s Charles River campus, the Joan and Edgar Booth Theatre & College of Fine Arts Production Center bring the design and production facilities closer to the theatre and opera programs with the goal of a more unified department and cross-discipline collaboration.
Auerbach Pollock Friedlander provided theatre and audio-video consulting for a new 250-seat flexible theatre, scene shops, costume shops, offices, studios and classrooms, working in collaboration with Elkus Manfredi Architects. The firm started its relationship with the University with a study of existing facilities and an earlier program review for the College of Communication.
Boston University Joan and Edgar Booth Theatre & College of Fine Arts Production Center was part of a multi-million dollar investment in College of Fine Arts improvements.
