Apeiro Design (formerly Auerbach Pollock Friedlander) was the theatre and audio-video consultant for the National Opera Center in New York City. The facility, neatly tucked into a midtown office building, features the Audition Recital Hall–a flexible 100-seat space designed specifically for operatic voices. The firm’s work included a recording control room that is at the heart of a complete digital audio and video recording system. The Audition Recital Hall also features a multichannel surround-sound digital cinema presentation system.

Apeiro Design also provided consulting for the venue’s Rehearsal Hall, including a system of tie lines to allow the space to be used as a recording venue, operated from the Audition Recital Hall’s recording control room.
