Jackson Hall features concert hall acoustics with a large stage and fly tower for dance for Broadway shows and popular entertainment. Seating is arranged on three levels and clear sightlines provide the entire audience with a commanding view of the stage and pit orchestra. The volume and surfaces are highlighted with accent light and decorative sconces which can be configured to give the space a more intimate appearance for smaller events.

The Vanderhoef Studio Theatre’s walls are shaped to diffuse sound, and motorized draperies can be deployed to reduce reverberation and cover the mirror dance wall and window. The resilient floor has radiant heating systems. Overhead technical support is provided by a tension wire grid allowing technicians to work safely. Unamplified music is supported by overhead tracked acoustic reflectors that store over the booth. A telescoping seating system deploys and stores 200-seats in a matter of minutes. Full theatrical lighting and sound systems support the various uses of the Studio. The architectural lighting is designed to be as flexible and reconfigurable as the room itself. Located above the tension grid and coordinated with the theatrical systems, the architectural lighting can be physically moved or controlled in independent groups to respond to varied configurations of the space below.
