The future Los Angeles Center of Emerson College will be located in Hollywood in close proximity to major film and television studios. The new facility will accommodate Emerson’s residential study and internship program, the first of its kind in Los Angeles.

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander is providing theatre and audio-video consulting for the performance support systems for the exterior grand stair facing Sunset Boulevard. The venue will be used as a gathering event space for large group assemblies, live performances, video presentations and informal gatherings. The work includes permanently installed audio-video systems, consisting of two large LED displays, video processors and associated sound systems.

Expected to achieve LEED Silver certification.
