The historic California Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, California reopened in 1995 with newly renovated and expanded galleries and public space. The 126,000 square foot renovation and expansion included the relighting of the entry, facade, and sculpture court as well as the exterior security lighting. The interior renovation included all existing galleries and the addition of eight downstairs galleries, administrative offices, library, curatorial areas, cafe and gift shop.
