Full-time position for an individual in the early stage of their career.

Requirements: 1 to 3 years experience in the field of architectural lighting design working as a design assistant. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, AGI, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite programs plus hand drafting skills a must. Knowledge of lighting products, some theatrical lighting experience, knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite software, 3D Studio Viz and good writing skills are desirable.

Responsibilities: Support for senior designers and project managers, manual and CAD drafting, computer and “by-hand” photometric calculations, design application and fixture layout, fixture and dimming schedules, contact with manufacturer’s representatives for product information and pricing. Some client contact will also occur.
