Leslie Davis brings to Auerbach Glasow an extensive background in lighting design, engineering and management. Her 25+ years in the lighting profession encompass the fields of consulting, manufacturing and education.

Her experience spans the full range of lighting design including theater, museum, office, hospitality, education, medical, institutional and industrial. Recent projects include the MGM Grand Cirque du Soleil Theater, Williams Sonoma Grand Cuisine Stores, Pottery Barn Retail Stores, Pottery Barn Kids Retail Stores, Vancouver International Airport Expansion, Winnipeg International Airport, numerous projects for Catellus Development Corporation within the Mission Bay Streetscape, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Sciences Building/CARE Building and Eden Quad Exterior projects.

Ms. Davis began her career with a prominent AEP firm in Minneapolis where she worked as an electrical engineer and then a project electrical engineer for 5 years. She then moved to a highly regarded Minneapolis M&E firm where she started their lighting group and worked for 3 years, winning several design awards from the IESNA. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she was Manager of Applications Engineering for a leading interior lighting manufacturer. Before joining Auerbach Glasow, she was Marketing Manager for the Life Safety and Controls divisions of another prominent Bay Area lighting manufacturer.

Ms. Davis has held numerous positions in the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America in both the Twin Cities and Golden Gate sections and at the regional level. She has held the offices of Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President in the Twin Cities Section, served as the IIDA Chair, Education Chair and on the Board of Managers in the Golden Gate section and as the IIDA Chair for the South Pacific Coast Region. Her committee work includes the Office Lighting, Psychological Aspects, Energy Management and Control Protocols Committees. She has taught introductory through advanced level lighting classes for the Illuminating Engineering Society, as well as lighting courses at the University of Minnesota and regional colleges in California. She was a member of the Technical Advisory Group for PIER projects sponsored by the California Energy Commission. She has been a frequent guest speaker for meetings in the lighting and energy fields.

Ms. Davis earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, Illumination/Electrical Systems option, from the University of Colorado. She holds a Lighting Certification (LC) from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.
