LAWRENCE KAMPF
Lawrence Kampf recently joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander as Senior Project Manager based in the New York office and will be providing on-site project management for our international projects. He brings over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of capacities within the performing arts world including consulting, owner representation, project management, production management and manufacturing consulting for entertainment industry specific systems.
Mr. Kampf previously spent 9 years with his own firm of Kampf Associates based in Boulder, Colorado providing owner representation, construction management and project management on projects such as the Staples Center Arena in Los Angeles, The Aladdin Theater for Performing Arts in Las Vegas, a major redesign of The Lion King in Toronto, Celebrity Cruise Lines Millennium Class Theaters in St. Nazaire, France, the Boulder Circus Center and a variety of media and broadcast facilities around the country. His passion in the performing arts also led him to be the founder and former Executive Director of the Boulder International Fringe Festival and a frequent contributor to the development of a number of pivotal performing arts and cultural initiatives around the world.
Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Kampf served as Production Manager and Technical Director to a wide variety of artistic and corporate clients including Panasonic, General Motors, NCR, DEC, the Nomad Theater Company and the Golden Sun Foundation for World Culture. His hands-on technical experience includes rigging, lighting, audio, carpentry, props, show control systems, staging, automation, data networks and video.
Mr. Kampf has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Write State University and did his graduate work in the Colorado State University Department of Industrial Sciences combining manufacturing technology and construction management. .
