HOWARD GLICKMAN
Howard Glickman has spent his fifteen years in the theatre playing a variety of roles in both the public and private sectors. He has worked in almost all aspects of the theatre industry including technical, administration, education, construction and equipment sales.
Since joining Auerbach Pollock Friedlander as a project manager, Mr. Glickman has been working on projects including the Fine Arts Center at Lower Columbia College, The L.E. & Thelma Stephens Performing Arts Center at Idaho State University, Zellerbach Hall at The University of California, Berkeley, and Aptos High School in Aptos, California. Howard’s experience in both the public and private sectors has given him an understanding in the organizational, budgeting and design process in these different environments.
Before joining Auerbach Pollock Friedlander, Mr. Glickman worked first as Technical Director and then as Event Services and Planning Coordinator for Kingsborough Community College of The City University of New York, He has been a Project Manager for Productions Arts, and a manufacturer’s representative for Electronic Theatre Controls and Intelligent Lighting Controls. Mr. Glickman also provided project management and installation services for fiber optic lighting systems while working for Optic Arts.
In 2000, Mr. Glickman received a Commendation for Excellence in Construction from the Associated Builders and Contractors Association.
Mr. Glickman graduated from Oberlin College in 1992 with a BA in Theatre and Political Science.
