Tom Neville brings a diverse background in theatre technology and production management to his work for Auerbach Pollock Friedlander. With over ten years of experience at professional theatre companies in management positions, Mr. Neville’s perspective and understanding of facility user operations is of critical importance to our projects. After joining Auerbach Pollock Friedlander in 1996, Mr. Neville became fully immersed in the project management of the recently completed 21,000-seat Conference Center for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
Mr. Neville is now the Principal-in-Charge of Auerbach Pollock Friedlander ’s Minneapolis project office where he provides hands-on response to many of our projects in the central United States. Before his move to consulting, Mr. Neville worked as Production Manager for Berkeley’s Tony Award winning repertory company, overseeing the work of a 30-member staff and production expenses of the $5.4 million LORT ‘B’ theatre. During this time, working as Project Manager and Building Committee member on a series of facility additions and renovations, he served as the owner’s representative for the Berkeley Repertory Theatre Second Stage. Working closely with Auerbach Pollock Friedlander on the integration of all operational planning and design aspects of a new second theatre, he proved to be extremely knowledgeable and focused on the unique theatre’s needs.
Mr. Neville’s professional theatre credits also include five years working for the University of North Carolina/Playmakers Repertory Company as a Production Manager and Adjunct Assistant Professor.
